we last notified you. To continue to donate this to Helen & Douglas
House you need do nothing further.
Thank you for donating goods to your local Helen & Douglas shop and for
completing a Gift Aid Declaration. Your generosity in giving your items is
vitally important and will help Helen & Douglas House to fund its
essential work and make a huge difference to the children and young adults
who stay with us. The work we do could not happen without the help of people
like you.
One of the requirements of HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is that
we contact you every time we make a claim for Gift Aid. This means
that, if Helen & Douglas House sells any more of the goods you kindly
donated, then I will have to contact you again. Although this seems to
be a waste of resources, until now it has been the only way of complying with
HMRC requirement for reclaiming an extra 28% on your donations.
