The evening Alpha course will start again on a date early in 2009 at 7.00 pm with supper and finish at 9.45 pm and continue over 10 evenings. There is no charge, just a small voluntary contribution to the meal.

The daytime Alpha which provides a crèche – ideal for young mums and toddlers – will also begin in September. Alpha is for everyone.

The ALPHA Course is a great way to explore the Christian Faith and to get to know new people. It's relaxed, low key friendly and fun. Listen. learn, discuss and discover. Each evening is in a private home, and begins with supper at 7.00pm. Then there is a talk and you meet in groups to discuss what you have heard. Ask anything! Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. The evening finishes at 9.45pm. Come to the first session and then decide if you want to continue for the following 9 evenings.

Alpha is world-wide. Alpha courses, all with the same format, are run in over 30,000 churches in over 150 countries and Alpha materials are now available in 45 different languages. It is estimated that 6.7 million people have now been on the course world-wide, and more than 1.8 million people across the UK are already estimated to have taken part in local Alpha courses, now running in over 7,000 churches in the UK of all denominations.
